Preview: Bear’s Den at the Lemon Grove (22/3/17)

British folk rock band, Bear’s Den, have unveiled a video for their new single, ‘Greenwoods Bethlehem’, which will be released on 7th April. The track is the latest to be taken from their top ten charting second album, ‘Red Earth & Pouring Rain’.

The video for ‘Greenwoods Bethlehem’ captures some of the band’s non-stop touring and features footage from shows in Los Angeles, festivals across Europe, Manchester’s historic Albert Hall as well as the band’s sold-out Brixton Academy show.

The band will be performing a sold-out gig at the Lemon Grove on Wednesday 22nd March as part of their thirteen-date European headline tour. Following the intimate Exeter gig, Bear’s Den and their full live band will stop in numerous UK cities, including Oxford, Cardiff, Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds, Southampton and London, many of which have already sold out.

Andrew Davie and Kevin Jones, who make up the band, have perfected their ability to write and perform songs which range from the anthemic ‘Greenwoods Bethlehem’ to the mellow, heart wrenching ‘Above the Clouds of Pompeii’. All of their songs are characterised by heartfelt lyrics set against a powerful backdrop of driving rhythms and emotive melodies.
