Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup consisting of a broth, some herbs as well as some meat. It is a somewhat light and healthy meal and probably your best friend during the harsh winter.

This will be one of the most easily prepared meals as you pretty much dump all the ingredients you wish to add in one pot and all you’ll have to do is wait!

Ingredients:

Water

Minced pork

Chilli

Lemongrass

Onion

Fish sauce (can be found in almost any asian market)

Garlic

Sugar

Pepper

Salt

Light soy sauce

Thin yellow noodles or noodle of your choice

(The amount of each ingredient is not listed as one should adjust the taste of the broth according to their preference.)

Instructions:

Simply boil about 500-600ml of water in a pot.

Add garlic, onion, chilli, lemongrass, fish sauce, sugar, pepper, salt, light soy sauce into the pot.

While in boils at medium heat, roll your minced pork into a ball-like shape and slowly put them into the broth as well.

Once your minced meat is cooked, add in the noodles and let it cook for about 1-3 minutes and you’re done!
