Voice is a student run listening and information service, run by students for fellow students at the University of Exeter. It is available from 8pm to 8am every night during term time. It is completely confidential, anonymous, non-advisory and non-judgmental, so you can phone without fear.
Voice is also your university 118 service. They have a huge list of useful numbers and information, from electricians to victim support. You can ring for anything, so if you need a pizza delivery number, need directions home or have locked yourself out of your halls room and don’t know what to do, Voice can help!
If you want to talk but not speak, email is also completely confidential. Your email will go to Voice’s web-server, which will scramble your email address and forward your message to them. And you’ll get a reply within 48 hours!
How can you get through to Voice?
1. You can call (01392 724000 from 8pm-8am)
2. You can email (email@example.com)
3. You can use skype chat (exetervoice)
It can really help to talk to someone you don’t know. Anything you say is anonymous.
You can also text for info e.g. taxi numbers (07935268001)
